Will this be a daydream or will it come true?

Well I have a dream...no this is not a version of Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech. This is a dream or maybe just something that I have to prove to myself.

I have decided to run a half marathon! Yes, you read that correctly. I have committed to run a half marathon (13.1 miles) in September.

To be complete honest I am a bit scared, I really don't want to let myself down. So please feel free to sent encouragement my way, I know for sure that I will need it!

Here is an outline that I am going to use to train. A friend of mine advised me to check out Hal Higdon training program. So lets see how this goes.

Good luck! I decided to train for a 1/2 after my third child was born...mainly to motivate me to loose the baby weight. I never actually ran it as my husband lost his job and that threw us out of wack for a few months. But I did lose the baby weight! I'm thinking about running Disney 1/2 marathon in FL in January.

I think that's an awesome goal. You can do it! Me, I hate to run, but I think it's great that other people can have such endurance.
