SNIRT

Oh snirt!**
Some may ask, what is snirt?  Others may just think that I have missed spelled a word.

But snirt is the mixing of melting snow and dirt.  Its the season that we are living in up here in the frozen tundra.  Its not really spring yet and winter hasn't quite ended.

Its not a pretty time here.  In fact here is a look around the base...

Turning into our neighborhood off the main road.

The view just down the street from my house.

Nice, huh?  I am not particularly fond of snirt.  I have to remember that this to shall pass because all in all it just DISGUSTING!  Snow and dirt should never mix because when they do you have to live in this.

**We cannot take credit for this great word snirt.  Our friend Kathy and her boys came up with it.  This is their 4th tour through Minot and they're really pros!**

I love your name for this horrible mixture. We have snirt around here and I just hate this time of year for that reason.
